Expressing his hatred for people’s rule, Muhammad said Islam does not have any mention of democracy or elections.
“From the very beginning, I have viewed democracy as a system imposed on us by the infidels. Islam does not allow democracy or elections,” 'The Daily Times' quoted Muhammad, as saying.
He said that the continuous bloodbath in the region was due to the hesitant approach of different regimes in the country to accept the superiority of the Islamic law.
“Had the government accepted our demands in 1994, we would have not seen the violence we are seeing today,” he said.
Muhammad said the authorities should have held dialogues with the Taliban before initiating military action against them, as it would have resulted in less violent activities.
He hoped that the new accord signed with the government would help the Taliban in establishing a complete Islamic state.
“I believe the Taliban government formed a complete Islamic state, which was an ideal example for other Muslim countries. Had this government remained intact, it could have led to the establishment of similar Islamic governments in many other countries,” Muhammad said.

The inking of the so called ‘peace deal’ between the North West Frontier Province (NWFP) government and Tehrik-e-Nifaz-e-Shariat-e-Mohammadi (TNSM) would see several of the captured Talibani operatives walk free due to a ‘give and take’ policy being the cornerstone of the whole deal.
Talking to reporters here, NWFP Law Minister Arshad Abdullah said ‘general amnesty’ would be offered to the insurgents during the talks between Fazlullah led Taliban and Tehrik-e-Nifaz-e-Shariat-e-Mohammadi (TNSM) chief Sufi Mohammad.
“Amnesty to the Swat Taliban will be part of the peace talks between Sufi Mohammad and Fazlullah. Without amnesty Taliban would never agree for disarming in the region,” 'The Daily Times' quoted Abdullah, as saying.
Stressing on the immediate need of restoring peace in the troubled Swat Valley, Abdullah said the prime objective of the government was to ensure return of routine life in the region, and disarmament of the militants.
Replying to a question, he said that the NWFP government had first taken the army and Pakistan’s top spy agency while signing ‘sharia’ agreement with TNSM for implementation of peace in Malakand division.

If Taliban’s rule can be imposed on the Afganistan why not in the Pakistan, which is demand of the country men because they have right to choose. Perhaps they do not have right to tell others and this is the hard ball for them. Most of the TV anchor and editors are favoring this deal which is a hot pot prepared by ISI and its own military to divert American pressure. I read various editorials as well as I heard many time on TV talk shows through his generals and politicians calming they have defeated Russians within 10 years, everybody knows the truth, so what happen to American drowns but why same format failed in the Punjab ( more than 10 years) and Kahsmir (more than 30 years). I am a muslim Indian and a firm believer in democracy. Sufi Muhammad does not speak for me or an overwhelming majority of my other muslim brothers or sisters. This report of his intentions is either mischievously distorted or if it is true then he needs his head examined and preferably locked up in a padded cell. My appeal to all my brothers and sisters of other religions is not to use the utterances of such bigots to bash the muslim community in general.

Sharia chief says there is no mention of democracy in the Quoran. Computers, AK 47s, cellphones, cameras and a variety of modern gadgets are not mentioned in Quoran. Then why are they using them? They are trying to enforce their convictions on others at gun point rather than explaining and convincing others of your convictions. Do they approve if somebody else mightier than themselves tries to enforce their convictions on them at gun point? Does Islam or the Quoran give them the right to kill others who do not agree with their convictions? Doesn't a leader who chooses to guide millions of others have the moral obligation to enlighten himself thoroughly to the best of his ability and honestly consider other view-points as well?

Talibans are just mentioning their creed they follow, it has nothing to do with the religion of Islam. Talibans follow those who were never elected and imposed on the people by force. Holy Prophet Mohammad (saww) brought a complete system of civilisation, education, humanity, but, it was hijacked by the tyrants after him. True elected leader in the beginning of Islamic period is Hazrat Ali (a.s.) who was first elected person. Thereafter tyrancy crept into muslim society that resulted in kings and nawabs. Be Allah (swt) curse on all kings and nawabs.Iran is the true example of Islamic democracy in whole Islamic world. No Islamic country can claim to be democratic, therefore, you find terrorists from all Islamic countries except Iran, who never impose their theory by force. Pakistan has quite sizeable Talibans population and this is the reason it is bent on terrorism.
I think America should now increase their financial asistance Pakistan, now that they have allowed the Taliban to take control of part of their land! This is all due to the American's double standard, one side they are saying Pakistan is their trusted ally to fight terrorism and on the other side allowing Pakistan to terrorise neighbouring countries using the financial assistance from America. Now what about our own pseudo-secularists in India? Are they all ready to change our democracy and implement Sharia law? Sure the votebank is guaranteed!

Interesting to the read the version Muhammed Fazalullah, tt Islam doesnt believe democracy or elections, accdg to this people, Islam only says raise down the schools, colleges and cover the face of females, and you can keep thousand wives and toruture them as and when wanted moreover they want spread this of law to all over the world. Democracy is not mentioned in Islam! Interesting. What about theory of relativity, magical realism, post modernism, carnatic music, theory of incompleteness, micro biology, Sun Java, BMW 750Li, Chandrayan, etc.? Some people still remain as Australopithecus.
Its a slap on the face of muslims when clerics like Sufi Mohammad speak on their behalf. When Caliphs were chosen they were sometimes chosen by the majority. They weren't imposed on the people. This is absurd. Elections and democracy are not mentioned in Islam- so what? What is Islam? Islam is not natures rule? Nothing to disrespect Islam, but Islam is just one of the thousands of faiths in the world. One more thing is it is the most aggressive and fanatic and harmful to the world at the moment, though its origional principles are completely differernt from how Muslims have been behaving historically.
Let Pakistan and its Mullahs go to hell, they actually do not deserve a place in the civilized world. One feels sorry for their womenfolk though as their future looks doomed.
