New Delhi, March 11: As twin blasts rocked Pakistan, India on Tuesday said it was worried over the situation there and expressed the hope that the new government will be able to restore normalcy.

“We are worried over it,” External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee told reporters when asked to comment on the situation in Pakistan in the wake of latest blasts.

He expressed the hope that the new government in Pakistan would be in a position to restore normalcy and “the fight against terror launched by the government would be further strengthened.”

At least 26 people were killed and over 170 injured in two massive suicide car bombings in Lahore that destroyed the federal headquarters of Pakistan’s premier probe agency and a house near PPP leader Asif Ali Zardari’s residence.

'Islam if a religion of Peace" procalim many leading Muslims all over the world. People belonging to othe faiths cannot be blamed if they do not subscribe to this procalimation after reading news killing of innocent people in bomb-blasts in Pakistan, Iraq, Algeria or some other countries.

India by Rajaram on 12 Mar 2008

Situation in India especialy ruled by Communnal Congress and Communists is worse than Pakistan. Why this Nalayak Slave of Sonya not concerned about this.

India by Ratan Pai on 12 Mar 2008

This pro-terrorist communal congress is worse than ISI. Congress is funding the terrorists in India with tax payers money. You can see all the noise they make when people of a particular community is affected and remains silent when the Hindus are discriminated or killed.Pakistan should not be blamed any more. It is the mafia don who should be made accountable.

Lack of collective wisdom predisposes to blackmail of any nation, especially which is poor and lacks democracy. by Rudra Shah on 12 Mar 2008

Something has terribly gone wrong with the Killists (terrorists cum jihadis) as they are turning their guns on Pakistan, showing no mercy for it's innocent people, whether they be children, women or any one else. It is ironic, as talibanism was fanned by ISI, and now the same movement is trouncing Pakisan like an elephant pulverising the vegetation on it's path. It speaks of discontent among the movement's masters located physically and philosophically on to it's west side. They do not see Pakistan fulfilling it's original promise of becoming the center stage of terrorism (jihadism in their eyes), as it is waking up to the reality that these masters are as selfish as anyone else. The price of this misunderstanding and miscalculation is immense for the people of Pakistan. However, it is heartening that the most powerful and violent of such movement that originated in latter half of 20th century is fighting itself near it's most important origin. It's splinter groups in other nations pale in comparison, when one considers Pakistan to the be most brainey (thanks to it's origin tied to India) and powerful, despite being poor. It's poverty has been manipulated not only by the western nations for their own interest, but also by it's westside friends and neighbors who no doubt financed or helped the talbian style movement, which could not have been possible for a poor nation. Democracy is like a movement of collective wisdom, under whom such venomous movements can not prosper, and therefore there will always be a tussle between good and bad as long as democracy survives in Pakistan.

Islam is a peaceful religion by Dr. Krishna on 11 Mar 2008

Islam is a peaceful religion Islam is a peaceful religion: really? Immediate jihad is waged if you doubt it. Muhammad is a messenger of God? Draconian fatwa is awarded if you doubt it. Islam respect women? We whip them if they doubt it. Islam respect other religions? We demolish their temples and deities. There is no deity but allah. Allah told us. Islam respect followers of other religions? We kill them, they are infidels. Muslims are loyal to the country where they live in? We break the country if we are large enough in number. Sometimes we send our sons to liberate our brothers and sometimes invite foreign muslim brothers to liberate us. Muslims are suppressed in non-muslim countries? We don't suppress non-muslims, we have cleansed them long ago. Muslims don't get jobs? We don't get jobs even we are so learned, even when we are Hafiz (memorized kooran by heart). Even when our children are so intelligent, we keep brainwashing them since their births. Muslims integrate with locals? What is the problem if we wear hanging Pyjamas even in Alaska (muslims in arabia were used to wear Pyjamas enough above the ankle in order to avoid tearing at the bottom due to friction with the sand) . Muslims are hated by others? We don't hate non-muslims, allah hates them. Kooran is the words of God? Who dares to doubt it, even if it is full of Satanic verses. We have exchanged our brains with solidarity. So many muslims are killed worldwide daily in militant activities? Who cares, we are the fastest growing religion. We produce 20 children per woman; fodder for the canons. Muslims are modern and civilized people? Thank to allah, who has given us oil and Sharia laws. Having oil we don't need to use our brains (if there is any) to get money for modernisation. And we have provided eternity to our civilization after cementing it with Sharia. Muslims retaliate when they are oppressed? Who says, muslims start the conflict, we have right to hurt others, non-muslims are already guilty of non believing in muhammad. World evaluates you by your behavior, not by your name. Please correct your behavior first and be civilized so that world does not need to civilize you with bamboo sticks.
