Pakistan trail India by 540 runs

Bangalore, December 9: Replying to India's total of 626, Pakistan were 86 for one in their first innings at close on the second day of the third and final cricket Test at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Salman Butt with 50 and Younis Khan with seven were the unbeaten batsmen when stumps were drawn.

Brief scores:

India first innings: 626 all out in 150.2 overs (S Ganguly 239, Y Singh 169, I Pathan 102; Y Arafat 5-161, 3-168)

Pakistan first innings: 86 for one in 27 overs (S Butt 50; A Kumble 1-19).
