Pandey’s death anniversary commemorated

Chandigarh, January 19 Nehru Sidhant Kendra Trust commemorated the 21st death anniversary of Joginder Pal Panday here today.

A shradhanjali samaroh was organised, and was attended by his family members, friends and admirers. Paying tributes to him, Prem Aggarwal, the general secretary of Nehru Sidhant Kendra Trust said that Panday was a dynamic leader, who braved the terrorists and strove hard for the unity and integrity of the country.

Aggarwal said, “Ludhiana lost a leader, whose equivalent is yet to emerge on the political scene.”

Lt Col Dr D B Sharma, organising secretary of the Trust, highlighted Joginder Pal Panday’s qualities. He exhorted the audience to follow the path shown by Panday, and pledge to implement his ideas and philosophy in life. Rakesh Panday, former minister of state and his brother Deepak Panday thanked everyone.
