The examinations had started on March 5 and were to continue till the 20th. "The teachers were evaluating the papers that had already been conducted and found something fishy as most students were scoring very good marks," Kant added.

While a seven-member inquiry committee has been set up, Kant said the decision to conduct the exams again was taken to give a fair chance to all students.
