Parle Tilak demolish Bombay Scottish

Mumbai, January 21 Parle Tilak, who trailed in the first innings, hit back with vengeance to bundle out Bombay Scottish in the second innings to record an emphatic 177-run win in the Group 'B' final of the Mumbai School Sports Association-Nike Harris Shield (Plate Division) inter-school tournament, at the Azad Maidan, here on Thursday.

Parle Tilak skipper Aishwarya Surve made his intentions clear right in the morning when he declared their second knock at their overnight score of 282 for seven.

The Bombay Scottish batsmen were all at sea while facing the pace and spin combination of Pratik Dabholkar who claimed three wickets for 18 runs.

Nikhil Jadhav was equally effective picking another three for 20.

Prasad Mahadeshwar chipped in with a couple (2 for 6) and their opponents Bombay Scottish from mahim collapsed for a meagre 59 in 37.3 overs in their second innings.

Earlier, Nikhil Jadhav had top-scored with 91, missing out on the century amrk by 9 runs. Noone could hold fort for Scottish.
