Kolkata, May 13 Even though the TMC chief Mamata Banerjee has refrained her party members from entering into an alliance with any other party, her party members are going against her diktat. “Didi has told us not to go into alliances with other party but it is not possible at the grassroots level. In places like Chandiltala, Janaitala and Sri Rampur there had been alliances between our party and the Congress,” said Snehasish Chakrabarty, Hooghly district Trinamool Congress president. Echoed Ratan Ghosh, North 24 Parganas district TMC president: “Mamatadi said there should not be alliances. But at the grassroots level it could not be adhered to.”
