Lyon's goes retro in its revamped avatar

If you had noticed the flurry of activity on under the drapes at Lyon's, well the surprise is out. Opening doors this Friday was the all-new 'Lyon's Premium Lounge Bar' and in its revamped avatar it's gone retro. Step inside and you are transported back in time with its theme and look. In fact looks like the '70s is in vogue here with old style furniture done up in Napa leather and the likes. "We wanted to keep a different look to it all and what better than making a retro statement," mentioned Aditya Nath Sharma of Lyon's. In keeping with the retro theme, the food, promises the staff, "will taste as good as it did in 1970." Which translates into healthy fare with minimum calories. Keeping in mind conscious palates, the lounge bar has made sure even the snacks at the bar have a healthy twist. So what's the menu looking like? There's their traditional Lyon's Sizzlers, Thai specialities, the uber popular Veg Manchurian and Lyon's famous butter chicken to list a few. "We have also introduced a sampling of fusion fare," mentioned Sharma who is looking to tap in the corporate crowd at the lounge and bar. Cheers to that!
