New Delhi LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan is yet to make up his mind on whether to accept Samajwadi Party's offer to contest the Lok Sabha by-election to Firozabad in Uttar Pradesh.

"I have not yet decided," Paswan, who lost from his home turf Hajipur in Bihar in the recent general elections, said.

"There is no such thing. Even the notification for the election has not been issued," he added.

The LJP chief, however, thanked Samajwadi Party for the offer.

Paswan's LJP had fought the recent Lok Sabha elections with SP and RJD under a loosely formed Fourth Front.

While both RJD chief Lalu Prasad and SP leader Mulayam Singh Yadav won, Paswan lost.

Firozabad seat has been vacated by SP leader Akhilesh Yadav, who retained Kannauj - a seat he had won in 2004.
