London Robert Pattinson may end up with a multi-million pound share of earnings from the latest project in the hit Twilight series.

The 22-year-old, who plays vampire Edward Cullen, was said to be set for a double treat from the series based on books by Stephanie Meyer.

Bosses at Summit Entertainment were allegedly mulling splitting the final novel, Breaking Dawn, into two parts after the latest film, New Moon, raked in the nearly 300 million pounds in just two weeks of its opening.

“It’s an extraordinary cash cow and the company wants to keep it going for as long as possible. They’re giving very serious consideration to the idea,” the Daily Express quoted a source as saying.

The source added: “A lot of cheque-waving and glad-handing would have to happen if the plan goes ahead. No one is locked into a fifth movie so the key talent could be looking at multi- million pound pay days.”

Terence Doyle, editor of British Film Magazine, also said: “Pattinson is central to the franchise and could basically name his price. Right now he’s the biggest star of his generation.”

I think Robert should play the great Scottish poet Robert Burns. The story is romantic and tragic and funny, and full of music, And Robert looks the part.

Money by Sheila on 10 Dec 2009

THIS is what has been bothering me! He needs to be compensated for his role in bringing Edward Cullen to life. I've seen interviews of him and he is SO not Edward Cullen. This guy just really knew the character and he has incredible acting chops. I heard he only made 10 million for the first movie. I was worried that his "people" were not watching out for him financially. He deserves to have a cut of the profits that are making all the suits rich. If he were my brother, friend, son, etc. I would advise him that someday he will have a family to support and he needs to take care of his financial future now, because acting gigs can dry up, no matter how cute and talented you are. Oh and BTW, Kirsten is somebody's sister and daughter, so quit calling her names.

He and the whole cast have worked very hard on both the first three movies. So I think it is only fair that he name his price, with what he has to put up with.

Robert Pattinson movie payout by Clare on 07 Dec 2009

I know he's in the best position to ask for any amount of money from his part in the Twilight franchise. He deserves it, so does Kristen & Taylor. But at what cost to his personal life and freedom does this fame come?? Recent reports show how hard it is for him especially to go anywhere without being followed by paparazzi. Poor man, I really feel for him. I wouldn't want that sort of invasion of privacy for anything in the world, no amount of money can make up for that.
