Mission 'Target Akshay'
"I think the only thing that Akshay has done wrong is that he has never been a part of any camp. He has never picked up any favorites with media or has tied up with journalists (it's a shame that some of them are called journalists). Unfortunately he is not a part of any politics and believes in the policy of 'do your work and go home'. Today, when people are getting an opportunity to tarnish and target him, he doesn't have people to defend him. Everyone is clearly having a field day."
All HITS forgotten?
"And by the way, why are we forgetting that he is the same man who in the last 3 years has seen 21 films of his getting released out of which 17 have been hits. He is the most consistent actor, star and a lot more than that. Just because one film of his doesn't take a kick start as expected, people out there have started making judgments. It's like Sachin Tendulkar failing in one innings and people saying that he should retire! See, these kinds of elements are always there and neither Akshay nor any of his directors or producers would be bothered about it."
Of course Akshay is disappointed!
"Akshay is extremely concerned about the kind of backlash coming towards him and the film. He is feeling at a certain level that despite what media has to say about the film, his audience should not feel let down. It can happen to the best of the people but the way stories are being generated, it seems as if Akshay has almost finished the entire industry with just one film. What are we smoking? It's really sad! People should realize that he is the only actor who does 4 films a year and still sees so much of success. Now today, if you want to crucify him then well, only God can help you."
The 'J' factor at play?
"Jealousy - I guess that too has played a major role in the kind of backlash that is being generated. They feel that Akshay earns a lot of money and I have realized that in my interaction with people. They are jealous about him reaching this position and now they have got a chance to open their mouths. Well, do that as long as you don't misuse the freedom of expression. But please don't jump to conclusions. Otherwise it would be a shameful incident in Indian cinema when so-called underperformance of one film would lead to a select bunch of people trying to finish him off. Well, keep trying because ultimately audience would anyways come to see his next film."
Why are we demoralizing the industry?
"While media and some people with vested interest are targeting a man who has come up to such a level through so many hardships in life and done something that people can only dream to achieve, they are only demoralizing others in the industry. Akshay is a man who has come from nowhere and created a space for himself. Today, you want to ignore all his hard work put for so many years; the ton loads of entertainment he has provided to millions out there. Show me one actor whose film hasn't lived up to expectations. When you see CC2C, Akshay has tried his best. Now may be you like the film or not is a different question but can you say that Akshay hasn't made an effort? There is a limit to what an actor can do!"
Akshay should retire? What nonsense!
"If you want to say that because of one film an actor should retire then I would say that please watch your mouth and language. Because I am so sure that Akshay would deliver a hit next, and that should be soon, and once that happens, the very same people would be touching his feet. That day is not far off! Suddenly there is a whole mission to 'Kill Akshay'. Well, let me tell you that he is much stronger a person that he won't die because of one CC2C. He won't vanish and instead would do a lot more for people. So please save your opinion because tomorrow you would be returning to him for an interview and a front page cover!"
It's not only about Akshay
"Yes, Akshay happens to be a very near person in my life but honestly speaking, Anyone including myself would've been disappointed if people would have talked in the same way. What disgusts me most is the attitude of some people in India who are targeting an actor. It is sad because at the time when the industry is not going through its best patch, we are not supporting each other. Seriously, we don't need enemies from outside when we have a good chunk of them from inside the industry. These are the people who are harming themselves. At the end of the day, this industry sees collective success and failure. If one film does well, it benefits 10 more films that are coming next. And if one fails, it impacts 10 more which are going to be released next."
Am I angry? No!
"I am not angry at the mischief makers; I am just analyzing the situation with a balanced approach and feeling sad at our outlook towards our colleagues. If we continue to have such an outlook in the times when the industry is not going through the best time then obviously our growth should be restricted. We pull each other down rather than supporting, hence we deserve to remain at a lower level. My point is, let's forget about Akshay and think about yourself. You are just damaging yourself!"
Akshay is not alone
"I can recount 100 such cases when someone has been pulled down so badly. A few months back, it happened to Himesh Reshammiya. Earlier, after ‘Saawariya’, Sanjay Leela Bhansali was said to be finished. Harman got to hear so much due to ‘Love Story 2050’. After ‘Drona’, Abhishek was written off and even though ‘Dostana’ was a success, a large section of media didn't want to believe it earlier on but later relented. This is our cynicism at play and mind you, one film cannot make or break anyone. Forget a superstar; it could even be the case for a newcomer. Yes, I choose to be vocal about it because perhaps this is what the first time when it is not just backlash but venom being spewed out. I have never seen something like this before and I hope I don't see it ever again!"

The peoples who think that Akshay Kumar dont know acting are just on the side of other actors who wants to earn from them to become rich for e.gwhen there was the opening of cc2c i dont know all media of started demotion of the film and when i watching the movie some reporters were appreciating him and when they came out they suddenly started to demote the film and directly told on the camera that audiunce should not watch the film.
First thing is ,SRK is the person who appreciate Akshay's acting .When Aksay's Bhool bhooliya released and u all know about the movie(Dammmmm boring movie),still SRK appreciate his movie and most importantly the song "hare Ram...".Now after that in award ceremony he also said that i(SRK) like his(Akshay) acting and the way he does ....all things. And when comes to Akshay after two or three hits, he started saying that SRK,THE KING OF BOLLYWOOD is selling facial creams and performing at the marriages and parties...and all thing ............NOW WHAT IS THIS??? is this AKSHAY's SINCERITYor his LOW mentality.Second thing is,SRK is very honour,famous and brilliant citizen of INDIA .Although his acting appreciate by whole WORLD.But now i am targeting those people who wrote here"SRK takes help of MUSLIM's underworld"......OK have u ever watch or hear or read SRK's INTERVIEW ?...then and only then u come to know about his SINCERITY ,Mentality ,his religion,......and WHO IS SRK ......OK .

It is worth watching Akshay's flop films 10 times more than any of our BAD-shah's much hyped top hit films even once just for the sake of the sincererity of the work put init.
I really agree with Mr. Vipul Shah, Akshay is one of the rarest actor who is down to earth, very professional and lots of others things to add. the movie is not as per the expectation but its not bad too. i am surprised how people have started criticizing Akshay for just one failure where there are others who do it consistently. i m sure Akshay will bounce back with his upcoming projects like Blue, Kambakht Ishq etc. and then the world will se how they were mistaken to call a superstar abad actor.
Dear Mr. Vipul Shah firstly I would like to Thank you you and Mr. Akshay Kumar for giving us Big All Time Blockbusters which are Namastey London and Singh is Kinng. I am from London and the cinemas near me said that Chandni Chowk To China had a huge opening and I my self and my family Love the Movie Chandni Chowk To China and it was great and I don't know why the media gave it bad results when it was a excellent Movie and Akshay Kumars acting was the best. Like big stars of the world like Tupac, Jay-Z and Aamir Khan have said that Media is bullshit and being runned by goons and I agree with them but the Media in UK is great and the media in India Sucks. Mr. Akshay Kumar is The Legend and The Real King of Bollywood.
All nonesense are favouring Akshay. How he can do this type of shit n crap movie where a villain spit n urinate at the future king of bollywood. I really shocked to see that absurd scene. Only akki can do this type of ghatya scene. There is only Hritik Roshan who can beat SRK n occupy the Superstar post. so u dear leave Akshay n support n unite 4 Hritik to topple srk from no. one position.

I agree with Vipul Shah that Akshay paaji is being wrongly targetted for one of his films going flop.People have startes writing his obituaries,the same people who had been calling him "Kinng" for the past 6 months.agreed,he might have delivered a flop,but it is not hits or flops but the quality of films that matter--truly,because today,a film being hit doesn't mean it's good,just that it sold tickets somehow--case in point being Himesh's Aap Ka Suroor nad SRK's shitty film Rab ne Bana Di Jodi (which is the most outrageous,crap and bastardized movie ever made)--both of which became hits but were useless movies..So letz not crucify Akshay for this flop but hope that he will come out smiling out of this debacle as he does in all his movies... and continues giving us the laughs and the splits..He has been and will always be "Kinng".......

ONE GOES TO A MOVIE WITH FULL FAITH BASED ON THE ACTORS STATURE. BUT CC2C WAS NO WHERE CLOSE TO EVEN A B-GRADE MOVIE. IT IS FOR THE ACTORS TO MAINTAIN THEIR STATURE.
akshey is not near to one he is near to million. not whole media, a section of it do injustice with public opinion, they want to move on their channel only for what GOD knows only. on national seens as well they does fruitless jobs neither they pay public anything nor teach. so let them do their business. nobody can stop them becasue we are liviing in democracy they have the right to do wrong also.
Akshay Kumar is and will be a superstar.One movie here or there does not count and even Chandni chowk is not as bad and a utter flop. Akshayis track record is brilliant and is is on the topp.
So why he refused the award for his popularity. That was not gracious. Perhaps the duo Fart/sajid Khan are responsible. Because like Shah Rukh/Saif they made sure they would get their vengeance straight. That is the spirit of the jehadis always revenge. He is one of the best actor's in our industry. Some of them are more politically greedy and looking for cover up when shit hits the fan. The writers should do there jobs and leave politics behind.
Obviously, Shah Rukh has vice like grip in the movie industry. Makes me to believe that he takes the Muslim underworld's help to have it his way. Amitabh would have met the same fate. Amar Singh's SP is taking care of the Muslim underworld threat.

The 'journalists' who are out to get Akshay have missed the woods for the trees. The culprit for this backlash after CC2C is the ‘STAR’ treatment of our movies. Movies like CC2C are hyped beyond human comprehension. W hen people enter the movie hall their expectations are sky rocketing thus after a movie like CC2C a backlash is obvious. It is high time we realize it is not the STARS but the quality of the story and the treatment that decides how good the movie is. Given Bollywood’s recent track record: Dostana, Drona, Ghazini , Rab ne bana di Jodi, Yuuvraaj. All had STARS but lack either the story (which was sometimes completely absent) or the treatment. Duds like CC2C underestimate the viewer’s intelligence and pass of as hits, thanks to these ‘journalist’ reviews. They should take a dig at the ‘STAR’ treatment of movies and stop hyping Shahrukh’s moustache or John’s physique before a movie! They are actors for god sake. If Surinder Sahni wears a moustache, so be it..

There are idiots every where including our Media (so called "Journalists"). Even if a film is a flop, there is absolutely no need to vehemently criticise Akshay. None of these Critics has come out with what could have been improved in the film or whether Akshay's acting was lacking in some area. Did they want more sleaze or sex or better storyline??
i totally agree with vipul shah , he is word by word cent percent correct about the bigotory of india media and shameful selfishness of the insutry wallahs, akshay kumar is probably one of the most honest actors of all times with lot of humility and self respect , it is sheer jealousy that people are after him and what ? did he take anyone's help even before reviews of cc2c came in I knew that they are biased and written before the critics watched the movie, even in one of the newspaper online the review was published in the morning itself of the day of release , this shows how particular section or all section of media and industry crooks are hand in glove to malign the reputation of an actor who is simple , honest and true
There is no doubt that Akshay is great actor, but to be very frank his current movie ‘Chandni Chowk To China’ is just a horrible / torcher and we cant expect that Akshay will this type or acting. In simple words it just impossible to tolerate this movie for three hours. I had watch this movie in Singapore on first day itself and before getting into the theater the people who saw this movie in early show where just begging us to don’t go to see movie and more over we had tried to give our tickets if anybody needed but same problem was every where, so I hope now you can understand it was not people who are against Akshay. We all are earning money by our hard work and we all feel bad to pore money in this type of shit movie.
