Bangkok, June 8: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan said there have been instances when abusive comments were put up by people on his blog but maintained that he will continue to write since the platform provides him a chance to interact with his fans.

"There have been abuses on the blog as well. But, I try my best to respond to it with equal candour," Bachchan said, adding if he has opened the doors of his house to all, he was open to criticism as well.

"I have directed Bigadda.com, which manages the server of my blog that there should be no infiltration or moderation," he said.

Bachchan, however, maintained that through the blog he has got a chance to speak to his fans. "I value inputs from the bloggers about my attitude, conduct and creativity."

The Bollywood star also pledged support to Nobel laureate Dr R K Pachauri's efforts to create awareness among the people that nearly 1.6 billion people in the world are without electricity.

"I am waiting for his directives on how I can be useful in this campaign," he added.

Bachchan said he also supported the UNEP's efforts to plant one billion tree around the world.
