Pereira steals the show

Mumbai, February 10 A match winning all round performance by Jeff Pereira (41 and 4-18) helped Worli Sports Club beat Khar Gymkhana by 11 runs in the low scoring match of the Padmakar Talim Shield Cricket Tournament (45-overs) , conducted by MIG Cricket Club at the Azad maidan on Sunday. Prashant K’s blazing 44 runs added to their total of 154.

An unbeaten century by Parminder Bhuslar (138) feature Victory’s 155 runs win over Parsee Gymkhana at Matunga. Aditya Tare was so fortunate to completed his ton as he was out at the score of 97 and Anup Revendkar added to the total of 329 with his 70 runs. The Parsee gymkhana batsmen started well but S Khushrushai got out with 47 runs on the board and Rustam Sethna managed 42.

Young Maharashtra piped Young Comrade Champions National by five wickets to enter the second round at Cross Maidan.
