Pharmacy college holds health camp

Chandigarh, January 24 A Two-day health camp Catholicon -2008 was inaugurated at Chandigarh College of Pharmacy, Landran. The camp is aimed at providing information about good health.

Satnam Singh Sandhu Chairman, Chandigarh Group of Colleges urged college students to participate in the camp.

A blood donation camp was also organised by Red Cross Society, Chandigarh. Nearly 120 volunteers donated blood.

Certificates were also distributed to the volunteers. A free eye checkup camp was also organised by the college in association with a charitable eye hospital in Sohana.

Students of Chandigarh College of Pharmacy and the Red Cross Society also conducted various laboratory tests like hemoglobin and blood group test, etc. The results were also made available.
