Chandigarh, March 4 Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar and Bollywood actors Preity Zinta and Jimmy Shergill are likely to come for the Badal XI and Bhattal XI cricket match to be played on March 13 at PCA Stadium in Mohali.

Addressing a joint press conference, Cabinet ministers Bikramjit Singh Majithia and P.S. Dhindsa and Rana Sodhi and Randeep Singh Nabha of the Congress said that both the teams are practicing hard for the match.

“One should also see the positive side of politics and politicians,’’ said Majithia. They said umpires for the match are likely to be Punjab and Haryana High Court judges.

Each player will have to contribute a minimum Rs 1,000. From the Congress, tentative players are Kewal Dhillon, Randeep Nabha and Sukhpal Khaira.

Dhindsa said their main players will be Manpreet Singh Badal, Adesh Partap Singh Kairon, Bikramjit Singh Majithia and others.

In a lighter vein, they added that no match fixing had been done and no sledging, as that was for the floor of the Assembly only.
