The book release was collectively done by Navjot Singh Sidhu, MP from Amritsar, SS Boparai, Vice-Chancellor of Punjabi University, Kanwar Sandhu, Resident Editor of Hindustan Times, Chandigarh, and famous comedian Jaspal Bhatti at the Government Museum and Arts Gallery, Sector 10, Chandigarh.
Speaking about his book, Gurjind tells us, “It’s all about ups and downs in politics, keeping in focus the Northern India. Everything is presented in a light line of attack without pin-pointing any public figure.”
Navjot Singh Sidhu, chips in, “The book is a complete honey-bee package, attracting everyone towards it. It proves that a small line can speak more than an epic.” Agrees Jaspal Bhatti, “The book is an immaculate collection, as it is really difficult to speak or draw something based on humour. All the lines in the book are very powerful and are based on a clear thought process.”
“Compiling this book is not an easy job. One has to do a lot of home work. One has to read and go behind the history of the subject before every drawing,” says Kanwar Sandhu.
