Sydney, January 5: Ricky Ponting may not want to admit this but the Australian skipper seems to have become Harbhajan Singh's bunny, falling for the eighth time to the Indian off spinner in the second cricket Test.

When Ponting was caught by VVS Laxman on the off side, he fell to Harbhajan for the third successive and eighth overall time in his Test career.

"We've got a good little battle on our hands", was how Ponting described his struggle against the Indian off-spinner after falling to him in the second innings of the first Test in Melbourne.

And Harbhajan seems to be winning the battle as a frustrated Ponting tries to find a way out of the jinx.

For the record, Harbhajan removed Ponting on all five occasions in the 2001 Test series in India, which included three ducks.

Harbhajan, who is in the eye of storm for allegedly racially abusing Australian all-rounder Andrew Symonds, celebrated Saturday's dismissal by running jubilantly holding his index finger aloft before doing a couple of half-commando rolls, much to the amusement of the spectators.

The other bowler to have become Ponting's bugbear was Englishman Darren Gough, who also got the Aussie eight times.

You nailed it...Ponting knew what the papers wrote regarding he being a bunny to bhajji...and got out first ball their after..so his ego was hurt endlessly...thus these alligations so that bhajji does not bowl in the next two matches and he can get away with it
