Prakash Jha plans to bring Big B to Bhopal for 'Aarakshan'

Bhopal Noted Bollywood filmmaker Prakash Jha, who shot parts of 'Rajniti' here, has chosen to shoot his next venture starring Amitabh Bachchan in this lake city from early next year.

"Bhopal is a beautiful place and the people of the city are very helpful. I have therefore decided to shoot my next film 'Aarakshan' starring Amitabh Bachchan here, starting February next year," Jha told reporters here.

The director said that movie-making is a long drawn-out and extensive process, adding he did a lot of research before making his films.

"'Gangajal' took eight to nine years to start while about six years were spent on 'Rajniti' before shooting could begun. And now, 'Aakarshan', which revolves around the recommendations of the Mandal Commission, has been in my mind for five years," Jha added.

'Rajniti' which is slated to hit theatres on May 28 next year stars Ajay Devgn, Ranbir Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Katrina Kaif and Arjun Rampal.
