Pranav Adani appointed Gujarat CII chairman

Ahmedabad Pranav Adani, the managing director of Adani Wilmar Ltd, took over the reins of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Gujarat Council, from Vimal Ambani, director of Tower Overseas Ltd, on Tuesday. It was the annual day of CII, Gujarat.

Adani has been nominated as the chairman of CII, Gujarat for the year 2009-10. Yatindra Sharma, the joint managing director of KHS Machinery Pvt Ltd has been nominated as the vice-chairman.

Adani told CII members immediately after the event that his priority will be to serve the members and the industry as a whole in Gujarat through a value-added approach.
