Mumbai British model-turned-actress Amy Jackson, who has been romantically linked to Bollywood actor Prateik Babbar, has described the latter as someone who is 'very close' and 'special' to her.

"Prateik and me are very close. I must say he is very special to me. We shot our movie for five months and obviously we shared a good chemistry since it's a romantic movie," she said.

Prateik and Amy would be seen in director Gautham Menon's 'Ekk Deewana Tha' releasing on February 17.

The two reportedly fell in love while shooting for the romantic film.

Ask her about the rumours of dating Prateik, and Amy says, "I came here with completely open arms. I have never acted before. I had no acting ability whatsoever. And now I have joined the film industry and I am loving every moment of it and my dedication it at the highest peak. So I wouldn't use somebody in the way that you are projecting."

"I believe I can become an actor on my own. And I don't need any rumours to help me do that," the 24-year-old maintained.

But would she consider dating Prateik? The Bollywood newbie said "Most girls would be happy dating him."
