Mumbai As Preity Zinta turned a year older today, several B-town celebs took to Twitter to greet the chirpy actress and wished for her successful stint as a film producer.

Preity, who turned 36 today, is resurrecting her acting career in Bollywood. She would be seen on celluloid after almost a gap of two years with her maiden home production 'Ishkq in Paris'.

After making her mark in Bollywood with films like 'Kya Kehna', 'Koi Mil Gaya', 'Kal Ho Na Ho', 'Veer Zaara', 'Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna' and others, Preity changed gears and became an owner of IPL team Kings XI Punjab.

"@realpreityzinta hey wish you a very happy birthday P Zee-have a fantastic year and a blockbuster debut as a producer... love always (sic)," actor Riteish Deshmukh tweeted.

"Here's wishing one of my favourites a very happy birthday @realpreityzinta have a super year Z, filled with loads of "tings"," actor Abhishek Bachchan said.

"Happy b'day to the coolest, spunkiest @realpreityzinta! May you be a super successful producer & may all things wonderful come your way! Big hug luv (sic)," singer Sophie Choudhry said.

Thanking everyone for the warm wishes, Preity tweeted, "Thank you guys and gals for your sweet Birthday messages! I have the biggest grin on my face reading them. Thanks for always putting a smile on my face! Ting."

Preity is not in town to celebrate her birthday as she is busy shooting for her home production 'Ishkq In Paris'.

"Watching the snowflakes slowly cover the roses and all the city of Lyon! Shooting 'Ishkq In Paris' in Lyon & Freezing," she said.

Last year the bubbly actress launched her own production company, PZNZ Media. The first film produced under the banner, a romantic comedy featuring her in the lead is directed by Prem Soni. The film is expected to release this year.
