Mumbai That's what you call the irony of life. During any daytime, whenever there is a shoot, one can find hoards of onlookers trying to get a glimpse of their favourite star(s). But if the same star tries to rub them the wrong way (intentionally or unintentionally), then the same onlookers turn on a new leaf!

That exactly was the case with Preity Zinta, who was all for welcoming her 34th birthday in style and grandeur, which meant that her house will be abuzz with gifts and visitors galore, followed by a late night party. All went on well as except the party aspect. The party was on till the wee hours of the morning, which in no means was acceptable to the slum dwellers who stay nearby her area. It was this loud noise which prompted them to lodge a police complaint against the bubbly actress. And the Khar police stations' officials are reportedly said to be penalizing the actress as per the provisions for flouting noise pollution rules.

Hopefully, all the stars will take a cue from this and maintain the spirit of their party on a low tone (quite literally!).
