Priti corners glory in judo

Chandigarh, November 23 Priti Gautam of IS Dev Samaj School, Chandigarh, grabbed the first position in the female under 12, 40 kg weight category, during the CBSE National Judo Tournament held at IS Dev Samaj Senior Secondary School, Sector 21 here today.

The second place was won by Priya of JDKDES, Charkhidadri while the third place was jointly shared by Kesang Lama of Lawrence School, Shimla and Harleen Kaur of Sacred Heart School, Rajasthan.

In the boys under 12 category (40 kg), Parveen Kumar of SPS, Gaziabad won first place. Aditya of IS Dev Samaj School, Chandigarh while the third place jointly went to Kapil of SGBSVM, Mathura and Puneet Nagpal of St Marry’s School, Hissar.

Female: Age Group: U-12 Weight Category: (+40 kg): I Ninad 2 Mohit, 3 Gourav and Robinder Age Group: U-14 Weight Category: -+50 I Shelja, 2 Ridhima, 3 Shebin and Shruti

Age Group: U-19 Weight Category: -52 I Paramjeet , 2 Meena , 3 Shubhangi and Shobha.
