New Delhi Days after a man threw ink on Baba Ramdev, his “supporters” Monday protested against the incident outside the Congress headquarters, shouting slogans and throwing black ink on a poster with Sonia Gandhi’s image.

The protesters, carrying a banner of Yuva Bharat Kisan Panchayat, gathered in front of the Congress headquarters in the afternoon and started shouting slogans against Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, and party leaders Rahul Gandhi and Digvijaya Singh.

Ramdev condemned the incident. “We neither support nor are part of such undemocratic and uncivilised acts,” said a spokesperson for Ramdev.

The Congress alleged the incident was the “handiwork” of the BJP. “Prima facie, the facts make it clear that this is the handiwork of our political opponents, including not only BJP, but also other peripheral elements, which are trying to promote the BJP’s agenda,” Congress spokesman Abhishek Manu Singh said.
