Starting Tuesday, buses for only select inter-state routes, including those for Patiala and Shimla, will leave from Sector 17.

Though Punjab Roadways will continue to provide bus services for Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Jaipur, Uttarakhand and Shimla from Sector 17, buses for Punjab will leave only from ISBT, Sector 43.

All buses from Chandigarh towards Ludhiana, Kurali and Mullanpur have been shifted to ISBT 43. Also, all bus services from Chandigarh to Ropar and back between 8 pm to 5 am, and from Chandigarh to Sirhind via Landran, Chunni, Fatehgarh and back between 8 pm to 5 am have been shifted to ISBT-43.

Himachal Road Transport Corporation has shifted most of its services to ISBT-43. Only buses for Shimla, Delhi, Haridwar, Dehradun and Nahan will be available from Sector 17 now.
