Though maintaining that today is the age of coalition politics, Lalu Prasad was effusive in his praise of Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi.
While speaking at a summit in New Delhi, Lalu said, “Rahul Gandhi is doing today what Mahatma Gandhi did when he returned to India. He is going to the nook and corner of India reading the pulse of the people”.

It is true that Rahul Gandhii has grown taller for his shoes, but he will never be equal to the foot dust of the Great Soul. Comparison looks cheap. Flattery is embarrassing for the recipient and degrades the donor. Lalu appears to be a staunch believer is cheap popularity

Come on people be fair... All politicians sons are following footsteps of their fathers.Atleast Rahul is not hogging limelight or indicted for any any corrupt act.I don't understand why people are so angry with him.I can name you numerous cases of politicians from so called dynastry involved not only in corruption but also murder cases(remember manu sharma) Give him a break !!

I alway said mohan das gandhi was no different than rahul or current leader of congress.It was congress which spoiled Hindustan. India got freedom because of life sacrifices by Subhash Chandra Bose, Chandrashekhar, Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru Vir Savarkar. These selfish congress demogogues served their end from Gandhi , nehru to rahul, arjun singh, sonia all are same.
I have heard Rahul speaking during the rally's, he just don't have it. The shameless sycophants will make him PM one day, that is for sure but it is really disgraceful. They almost made his dumb Mom our PM, Can you believe this woman hasn't given one press conference till date, she never interacts with media, because there questions are extempore, you don't have prepared answers, she reads her speaches in rallys or summits, but never interacts with media, what a shame!!!!
Everytime I think India is improving, shedding its feudal past and then I come across a piece of reporting that reminds me about the deep seated sychophancy ingrained in us. Shame on us that even after 60 years of democracy we still cannot find true grassroot level leader who have the vision beyond their immediate family. When is true India going to wake up?
If Lalu knows Rahul that well then please let us know what is the qualification/education of Rahul gandhi. Once it was reported in newspaer about Rahuls mental (dis) ability.
Let Lalu also join with Rahul in visiting the nook and corner of India, to read the pulse of the people. Probably he may be doing it keeping in mind his selfish goals. He should, however, stop comparing Rahul with the great Mahatma Gandhiji. Rahul has got no political maturity or general knowledge. His only qualification is that he is from Nehru's family.
When Mahatma Gandhi started he too had no "political maturity or general knowlede". All he had was a desire to change things for the greater good of people. I don't know about you. But the way Rahul Gandhi is going about the business of meeting people and going to the nook and cranny of the country, it gives me hope that maybe...just maybe, a leader is getting ready to emerge out of the sewer that is modern indian politics today. Keep your fingers crossed and your cynicism in check. May be someday, seeing the tattered and battered state of some of his poorest countrymen will make something click in his mind and produce an epochal leader that india so desperately needs right now.....

Laloo will even say this rahul is the grand grand -- son of Mahathma Gandhi. This types of b------s will not give peace to the departed soul at the heavens also. He ruined Bihar and for their livelyhood they have migrate to other states and we have seen the result in Maharastra.
