Railways see revenue of Rs 953.06 bn in FY10

New Delhi Indian railways expects revenues of 953.06 billion rupees ($19.6 billion) in the year to March 2010, while spending is seen at 844.3 billion rupees, railway minister Lalu Prasad said while presenting the railway budget for 2009/10.

He said the railways should have a cash surplus of 55.72 billion rupees in financial year 2009/10.
