SHISHIR SHINDE
Represents Bhandup. The MNS general secretary had a long association with the Shiv Sena before joining the MNS in 2006. As a Shiv Sena candidate, he was elected the corporator from Mulund in 1992 and nominated to the Maharashtra Legislative Council in 1996. Best known for digging up the Wankhede pitch in 1991 before the Pak cricket team’s visit, he contested this year’s LS polls on an MNS ticket. He lost but the 1.94 lakh votes he got ensured the defeat of the BJP candidate. He is also the spokesperson for the party.
RAMESH WANJALE
Represents Khadakwasla in Pune. Known for the two kg of gold that he wears, Wanjale was associated with the Congress till the Assembly elections. Denied a ticket by the Congress despite his wife being a corporator, Wanjale switched to MNS and was elected to the House. He is the only MNS MLA from Pune district. While with the Congress, he first tasted electoral success when he was elected as sarpanch of Ahire gram panchayat. He was also elected deputy chairman of the panchayat samiti.
RAM KADAM
Represents Ghatkopar (West). Known as “Rahul Mahajan’s friend from school days” in Mumbai’s political circles, he is today being considered a giant killer. Kadam, who fell out with the Mahajan family and joined the MNS before the Assembly elections, defeated Rahul’s sister, Poonam, in Ghatkopar (West) constituency. A ‘social worker’, Kadam was not politically active prior to his entry into the MNS. This year, he made headlines in local media by organising a Rs 25-lakh dahi handi at Ghatkopar.
VASANT GITE
Represents Nashik. A former Shiv Sainik, he was among the first leaders to quit the party and join the MNS. Gite, the party general secretary who has a stronghold over the Nashik region, played a prominent role during the MNS’s agitation against migrants. In 1986, Gite opened the Shiv Sena’s branch in Nashik and won the Nashik Municipal Corporation polls in 1992 and 1997. In 1997, he became the Mayor of Nashik. Then he fought Maharashtra Legislative Council polls, but was defeated.

They are just injecting non reasonable poisons in an aam marathi manus. The results can be seen in trains, roads & even in residential societies. A bitter experience recently i've faced. In committee meeting of our residential society we were discussing certain issues, when one of a marathi guy came forward and ordered us to speak in marathi or they will quit the meeting. These things we are experience even in trains also. I fear if these brain wash will go on in such a way then no one can help mumbai with communal/religious rights. Therefore i would like to appeal my marathi brothers who are first an indian beware of such poisons who have nothing to do with marathi manus or their lives. They are in search of fame & money.
@Joseph don't behave as a frog in a well. which all states u know u south india where u"ll not find hindi speaking people. I have stayed in kerala,Andhra pradesh as well as karnataka and i have found most of the people are aware of hindi.and most important of all they will not beat u for using hindi. The way MNS is progressing and getting support by the goons, the day is not far that just because of them it will be hard for aam marathi manoos to come out of maharastra.

I would like to express my intrest and convince to the govt. of india, that MNS leadrs and Chif manister of MP should be put behind the bar for making the open public rallys against biharis and UP,s credability. as they are not aware of the constitution of india hence they do not desrve the to be an politician for india.
Raj thakre and his associates should be hanged till death as they are more dangerous than the terrorist those attack Mumbai. We oppose the policies of MANSE and the Marathi's Nara as we all are citizen of India. Raj's Gunde do not believe on the legislature of India they all behaves like gunda mawali's. Now we all Indain says that Raj is no 1 enemy of India and their integration.
Hey all, can someone please explain us that why hindi is ous national language? and how many states in india are actually hindi speaking states? Can 2-3 state's speaking langueage be a national language? and Are south indian states ani-national because they do not speak in hindi from 1960? It is most unfortunate that in a civilized society and world how we are going to tolerate such people who do not to respect the national language Hindi. It is more shameful that they (MNS MLAs) are the representatives of the people in 21st century. Respect for a particular language can not be forced upon in this manner. These people should be immediately debarred from any public representation and their MLA ship should be immediately withdrawn.
All Hindi speaking people should roll up their sleeves and teach lesson to Marathis who are challenging our national pride. We should drive them out of Maharashtra.

dear friend rutu you don't know hindi is 2nd largest Language in the world after "Mandarin Chinese" and other think if y r not able to respect your Mother tang then you r not able to love your country. This type of thing happened only in mumbai, outside of mountain (mumbai) there is %u201CIndia%u201D please go over there. And other think have you been in south till the date? I think big no! They are speaking hindi!!!
It is high time Bombay should be separated from Maharashtra and made union territory to stop dadagiri of Marathees.
Marathis should not be given jobs in sensitive areas because they hate our national language and nation. These Marathi Btd can take oath in English but not in Hindi.
If Marathis speak Marathi language outside Maharashtra they should be slapped and beaten up. Congress or BJP being Marahtis will support Marathi MNS leaders because of their love towards Marathi and hate towards Hindi and India. Congress is sowing seeds of partition by not shooting down Marathi followers of MNS and ShivSena.
We respect the other languages of India either they are Marathi or Malyalam. We live in a diversified country so we should respect each others language,religion, costume and festivals irrespective of caste, gender and state. Whatever is happening in the name of Marathi Manoos is not good for the nation as this will weaken the pillar of India. Although language is means of communication so don't play with the language just think about the well being of people, so that nation get developed. MNS is an untouchable community of India. Doesn't they (MNS hooligans ) listen the Hindi music, don't they like Hindi actors? As per the constitutional right provided to us, we can live any where for our livelihood and we can speak any language as per the choice and if any body is restricting anyone from their fundamental right, he should be punished as per the law of the land. Raj Thakrey is not above the law, as whole nation knows Thakrey family has done enormous damage to the national integrity.
IF A POLITICAL PARTY IN MUMBAI WANTS TO IMPRESS PEOPLE, THEY COULD ASSIGN THEIR WORKERS OF EVERY WARD TO MAKE SURE THAT THE STREETS ARE CLEANED PROPERLY AND GARBAGE IS PICKED UP REGULARLY. THEY CAN CALL UP MUNICIPAL WARDS TO CORRECT ANYTHING THAT IS WRONG IN THEIR AREA. THEY CAN FORCE THE MUNICIPALITY TO FILL THE POTHOLES IN THEIR AREA. IF THEY DO SUCH CONSTRUCTIVE WORK, PEOPLE WILL BE VERY HAPPY TO VOTE FOR THEM AND LISTEN TO THEM. BUT, NO, THEY WANT TO BE HEARD ONLY BY CREATING A HUNGAMA EVERYWHERE AND FIGHT ANYONE WHO DOES NOT FOLLOW THEIR THINKING! SHAME ON MNS, SHAME ON THE PEOPLE WHO ELECT SUCH PEOPLE TO ASSEMBLY!
