Rajbir Singh murder: CBI registers case

New Delhi, June 3: The CBI registered a case on Tuesday to probe the murder of Assistant Commissioner of Delhi Police Rajbir Singh.

The case was registered following a request by the Haryana government for a CBI probe which was approved by the Department of Personnel on May 27.

Rajbir was gunned down allegedly by his friend and property dealer Vijay Bhardawaj on March 24 at Gurgaon. A team of CBI officials accompanied by forensic experts reached the spot where the murder had taken place.
