Party President Rajnath Singh ruled out change of leadership in the state saying it is not negotiable as top leaders conveyed to Tourism Minister and dissident leader Janardhana Reddy that some of their demands could be met, party sources said.
This includes removal of Karandlaje, who is said to be close to the Chief Minister and whose ouster is one of the major demands of the Reddy brothers, the sources said.
The other points in the compromise formula are meeting the demands like making Speaker Jagdish Shettar a Cabinet Minister and transfer of the Chief Minister's Principal Secretary P V Baligar, they said.
It was not immediately clear whether the compromise formula was acceptable to the dissidents. In an effort to resolve the crisis stalking the first BJP government in the South, top party leaders, including Rajnath Singh, Venkaiah Naidu, Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley and Ananth Kumar held a series of meetings among themselves and with Janardhana Reddy.
Naidu, who along with other senior leaders Ananth Kumar, Sushma Swaraj and Jaitley held discussions with Janardhana Reddy, said "the crisis will be resolved in a day or two." Janardhana Reddy parried questions on whether the reported compromise formula was acceptable to him.
"I will not meet the Chief Minister. Why are you asking me this? Why should I meet him? I will not meet the CM at all," he shot back at reporters after the meeting.
Reddy, who has been camping here for last three days, said he has met all the senior party leaders, including Rajnath Singh, and explained to them in detail "what I have been saying for the past five six days."
Mentioning all the leaders, including L K Advani by name, he expressed the hope that the party high command would take a "very very good decision" in the interest of the state, party and development. He voiced confidence that the party would provide "good leadership" to the state.
Reddy, along with his brother Revenue Minister Karunakara Reddy has been spearheading campaign against Yeddyurappa. Earlier Yeddyurappa sought to reach out to the dissidents, saying he was "trying his level best" to meet Janardhana Reddy and his brother Karunakara Reddy. Reddy, however, immediately rebuffed him, saying "I will not meet the Chief Minister at all".
The party leaders told him that his public comments against the Chief Minister were not acceptable.

Look at the timing of this fight Northern districts are recovering from one of the worst calamity where the peoples representatives are expected to be among their people. our leaders languishing in 5 star comferts in neighbouring states. what an example of welfare. Oridinary people are contributing their daily earning, these representatives spending crores of Rupees for their whims in this cercustances one is forced to think is democracy is required in this situation why administration should not be handed over to other able persons. The Reddy brothers are looting the wealth of Karnataka and selling it to some other country. They should be prosecuted for Theft, extortion and Dacoity.

Solution to Reddys and Kodas.. etc.. Nationalize all natural resources! Don't allow crony-capitalism where individuals like Koda or Reddys loot the nation to become billionares. Their wealth creation is not like those of Infosis, Wipro or reliance where real stuff is made along with money. They just steal natural resources like Iron ore, coal its and sell to China. It should be stopped.
I would like to remind readers that some MLAs in Gujarat were also after CM Narender Modi but at that time Mr. Modi and BJP leadership completely isolated and sidelined the rebels and in the next elections many rebels lost their seats. Now it is happening in Karnataka. Modi formula should be applied in Karnataka. I am sure that Congress implanted Reddys to disturb the BJP government. Suspicious thing is that rich and corrupt people join Congress for illgotten wealth but Reddys joined BJP. BJP must keep a sharp watch on Congress and Deve Gowda. If Congress can buy MPs for crores of rupees they can buy Reddys easily.
You are another Knickerwallah who will always find fault with the Congress for everything wrong going on in the BJP. Please understand that Gujarat and Karnataka are entirely different and what is applicable in Gujarat cannot be done in Karnataka. It was the Yeddy and BJP which propped up the Reddys to come to power and now they are paying the price for it.

People voted for BJP in Karnataka. Another misleading propoganda. The BJP just got 35% of the votes and even one percentage less than the Congress, yet got more seats due to the defective first past the poll system. It also did not get a majority, but only engineered defections from the Congress and JDS making them resign their seats and contest elections once again to manufacture a majority. All these were done with the blessings and largesse of the Reddys. Now that Yeddy is putting a spanner in their works due to his own personal benefit, the Reddys have revolted. The moral of the story is what you sow, you shall reap.

What is brave about Yeddy ? It was he who propped up the Reddys in Karnataka by allowing them to loot the State for their own and his Party's and personal benefit and he is now reaping the harvest. When the push comes to shove, he is trying to make all kinds of compromises with the Reddys to stay in power. He is calling them brother, father etc. and blabbering and you are calling this brave. When the state is reeling under the flood devastation, the Reddy Brothers and the MLAs of the same region are neglecting the region and fighting for the power, this shamful act of Reddy Brothers is causing damage to the party and the State CM is helpless and unable to concentrate on the flood relief work to be undertaken immediately. The Party and the CM should not bend before the Reddy Brothers instead take serious action against them.

It is your so-called Yeddy who propped up the Reddys by giving all kinds of concessions to them for looting the State's precious resources for thier own and the Party's benefit. By the way, three of the Reddy Brothers are in Government. He used the Reddys to outwit the Opposition and he is now paying for it dearly.
We voted BJP to power with pride and expecting clean govt. What we got now, is worse than JD(s) and now we feel no choice but fall on feet of Congress to save karnataka from looting.
This and other problems of BJP clearly indicate that the discipline got erroded to such a level that no one is cared about the idelogy. All are behind power and name and money. For once let the BJP demostrate that its a party with a difference. These Reddy brothers aren't fighting for any principle. It's just a fight for loot of the national resources. It seems CM has shown some courage and challenged their might in their den. If Yediyurappa, finds himself in the vortex of an ugly political row triggered off by the challenge to his leadership by his onetime confidants turned political rivals, the Reddy brothers, he has none to blame but himself. Because it was he and his party, which discovered the Reddy brothers, nurtured them and used them as convenient tools for achieving their political objectives. And, in the process, gave on a platter the political standing, name and respectability to the Reddys. It is an open secret that the operation Kamala was entirely scripted, financed and executed by the Reddys. For the favours received, the party obliged the Reddys in myriad ways. Yediyurappa went literally out of the way accommodate all sorts of demands of the Reddys. Now that the Reddys ambitions have gone further high and they are now eying the CM post, BJP has realized that they have bitten more than they can chew. It is like a Tiger overriding the rider.

Since long, BJP knew the character of the Reddy (Bellary Mining) brothers and that these brothers could blackmail and create problems in the future. So why did they associate with them? Why? Because they are hungry for power. Therefore, BJP cannot be termed as being different from other political parties. If BJP wants to prove that they are different, then they should support their CM and get rid of the Reddy brothers. Even if their government is de-stabilised and removed /replaced, BJP should have the character
BJP top brass should be strong enough and should not bend before money power of Gali brothers. It only hits on the knees of the party. They should be stern even if the party has to lose its government for the time being. Reddys revolt was to happen as they lost their godfather YSR in Andhra. This drama is surely going to be repeated in AP with Jagan acting like Reddys of Karnataka. Congress party also should be ready to face the music soon!
