The entire saffron brotherhood, including the chief ministers of BJP-ruled states of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, was present to protest against what they called “attempts to target Hindus in the name of Hindu terror”.
BJP president Rajnath Singh, who joined in towards the end, said his party “would take to the streets” if the “ongoing campaign against religious leaders was not halted.” Party’s prime ministerial candidate L K Advani couldn’t make it (“he couldn’t fly to Panipat because of bad weather,” said an Advani aide) to the meeting, but speaking at a rally in Chandigarh later in the day, he said, “The Congress coined the term Hindu terrorism, but the BJP never used any term like Muslim terrorism.”
Raising the pitch on the Pragya Singh Thakur issue, Ramdev said: “Power is today being exercised by people who should either be in jails or who should be hanged. There will be a massive tussle for power three months hence. The country needs a big change, where Sant Shakti (religious gurus) and Jan Shakti (people power) come together. This process will not stop until the glory of India’s past is restored.”
The Yoga guru’s ongoing Yoga Vigyan Shivir in the same grounds has been a huge draw. However, the turnout in Sunday’s public meeting was extremely poor. Ramdev’s six-day camp was inaugurated on November 12. Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda visited the camp the next day.
The congregation on Sunday charged the Congress-led UPA Government of running a “sponsored campaign” in the ongoing Malegaon blast probe. RSS chief K S Sudarshan said that the term “Hindu terror” was an “oxymoron, because the Hindus, by very definition abhor violence”. He said, “The country would always be guided by spiritual gurus like Asaram Bapu, Morari Bapu, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and Baba Ramdev.” On his part, Ramdev added that “the Muslims and Christians of the country shared common ancestors with the Hindus.”
Quoting a TV channel, Rajnath said, “The ATS claims of Lt Col Purohit’s sourcing of RDX for the Samjhauta blasts may not hold water now that it is being said that ammonium nitrate and sulphuric acid were used in the blasts.”
While most of the speakers said that Pragya, like “Shankaracharya Jayednra Saraswati earlier” was being hounded only because she happened to be “a saffron-clad ascetic”, a good number of them said that “even if her involvement in terror was established, it could not be equated with Islamic terror”.
Swami Chidananad Saraswati, who recently organised a “dialogue” between Advani and Christian leaders, was one of the organisers of Sunday’s public meeting. Asked how “voices of reconciliation” had suddenly changed notes, he said: “Punish the guilty in the blasts, but don’t brand him guilty before the charges are established.” Asked how religious gurus like Ramdev could make political comments, he said: “The political overtones in his speech only show that the sant samaj is hurt as they are being viewed with suspicion”.

What this fake yoga guru doing with communal goons ?
The countrys security should not be tampered with and should not be allowed to be ruled or intervened by sayings of any gurus ,biggies ,politicians .Secuirty is everyones business and people creating further chaos and hampering the smooth functioning of it should be put behind bars too.If Ramdev and his aides are so interested ,tell them to stop doing yoga and get into the CBI and then ivestigate ,rather than intervening what is not under their purview.Let the people having the expertise speak.
well if Shankaracharyas can be involved in most heinous terror activities killing innocent people be it hindus , muslims,christians alike without any remorse across cities of india then investigate the role of Ramdevalso into different terror activities in india. why is this ramdev openly defending terror activities ? why is he so fearful of the probe which is happening in connection of Malegaon blast?Do a NARCO analysis on Ramdev too, I am sure he will also spill the beans.Thanx
Atlast the Hindu religious heads seem to unite ;whether the unity will last and strenghthened,we will wait and see. The minorities in our country fail to understand that once Hindus unite, they will understand how they should live in this country!
hiwell Malegaon investigation has really shown the world who is the real terrorists and who is the real threat to National security and unity of india.I thought Ramdev is a yoga guru but unfortunately he comes out to be another merchant of death in the garb of yoga to defend terrorists...shame shame. Now i hate this saffron clad thing cause they have political objective.Since Ram mandir is a dead issue cant get BJP any votes so they started large scale terror activities across india be it in Malegoan, Delhi, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad killing innocent hindus,muslims,christains alike in the hope of polarising india and get some votes. shame on such merchant of deaths and ban this entire BJP and so called saffron clad outfits if we want to save india from implosion.Thanx
BJP and all Sangh Parivar organizations should immediately take to the street against the congress' sponsored accusation campaign against Hindus in the country. All Hindus should join together at this stage and vote against congress, bring back BJP which is the only and only nationalist party in India today.
Hiwell My request to government and investigative agencies is that Investigate with an open mind all the terror activities in India be it in Malegaon or Delhi or Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Varanasi , Hyderabad u will find BJP and its gang behind each of them.It is shame that these so called saffron clad terrorists and BJP are shamelessly defending terrorists where as couple of days back they were shouting at the top of the voice when their names were not out.The only objective of BJP and its safron clad terror gang is to come to power by hook or by crook be it by indulging into terror acts killing hindus and muslim ,christains .For them Power is more important than lives of innocent hindus,muslims ,christains and they are really "merchant of death".In pursuit for lust of power BJP and its saffron gang is going to break this country.Thanx
