Rotary International to conduct youth exchange programme

Pune, October 18 The Rotary International has invited applications from young men and women between the age group of 15 to 25 years for international youth exchange programme.

“There are three types of programmes - short term, long term and new generation youth exchange. While the first two programmes are for the age group of 15 to 19 years, the new generation youth exchange programme is applicable for students in the age group of 19 to 25 years,” said a press note issued by the rotary club. "The idea of the programme is to give the students an international exposure. During the programme, the students will experience the culture and social and family structure in another country, which will help to widen their perspective, develop leadership qualities and learn new languages," said the press note. The rotary international does the international youth exchange programme in many countries like Germany, France, Belgium, Brazil, Argentina, South Africa, Poland, Sweden and Switzerland.
