Mumbai, June 22: The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorist Squad, after securing the custody of four All India Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) activists including its chief Safdar Nagori from the Madhya Pradesh police, is bringing them to Mumbai, police said.

A team of ATS officers have secured their custody from a Madhya Pradesh court and are on their way to Mumbai, they said.

"They will be reaching Mumbai and depending upon their time of arrival, we will be presenting them before a local court later in the day or tomorrow," a senior ATS officer said.

Among others being brought to Mumbai is Shibli Peedical Abdul, a top leader of the banned SIMI, who was reportedly present in Mumbai on July 11, 2006 when a series of seven synchronised explosion on board suburban local trains were reported, killing 187 persons.

Nagori and Abdul were arrested along with 11 other leaders during a clampdown on SIMI's activities earlier this year.

Three of the 13 arrested, including Nagori and Abdul are being wanted in the Unlawful Activities (Preventions) Act case for printing and distributing Jehadi literature in the year 2006.
