Sahil, Vasanti ease on

Pune, January 12 Pune's Sahil Deshmukh, Vasanti Shinde, Nanded's Vivek Waghmare, Mumbai's Bharati Bylapudi and Saurabh Patil of New Mumbai upset higher-ranked seeded players to enter final in their respective events at thet the DB Power–MSLTA Junior Tennis Masters, at the Deccan Gymkhana courts, on Saturday.

The biggest win of the day was that of Saurabh Patil (New Mumbai) who accounted for top-seeded Tushal Thawani (Pune) 6-3, 6-0 to make it to his maiden U-14 final, Patil. In the final he runs into Pune's Arjun Kadhe, the second seed. Arjun stopped the winning run of giant-killer Advait Sadwilkar 4-6, 6-2, 6-3.

The finals will be played tomorrow 9 am onwards.
