Saif replaces Salman Khan in 'Judwaa 2'

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala has confirmed a sequel to his 1997 comedy Judwaa which starred Salman Khan in the lead. The film with Salman playing a double role was one of the biggest hits of that year and his performance was appreciated by all. But for the sequel, Salman has been replaced by Saif Ali Khan. Not just that, the film's sequel will be helmed by Sajid Khan.

Sajid Khan and Saif have been wanting to work with each other since a very long time and now that they have found the right script, they are looking forward to it. The makers are also planning to hire technical experts from Hollywood to play up the duplicity. The rest of the cast is yet to be finalized.

Currently, Sajid Khan is busy with Housefull 2's post-production and the story-screenplay of his next film starring Ajay Devgn. Sajid will start shooting for Judwaa 2 only after the completion Ajay's film.

'Judwaa 2' is set to go on floors early next year.

Do not know about the final result but it looks like a blockbuster formula. Undoubtedly Salman was brilliant in Judwaa but Saif is younger, a better actor and more sincere in his work. He will bring a much needed freshness plus he is great at comedy which he has not attempted for a long time.
