Jammu, August 30: A group spearheading the agitation in Jammu over the Amarnath land row on Saturday said any peace formula should be clear that the proposed formula should include provisions of exclusive control of the land with the shrine board during the yatra.

"The transfer of land to the board should be complete during the yatra. The restoration of the land that was taken away by the Government's order should be done," Narindra Singh, spokesperson for the Shri Amarnath Sangarsh Samiti said in the backdrop of reports that a formula was ready for resolving the issue.

He said there has been no communication from the Government to the Samiti which was waiting for the fourth round of talks.

Governor's advisor S S Bloeria, heading the four-member Governor-appointed panel, is slated to hold talks with the Samiti later on Saturday after they were postponed for two days because of his ill-health.

However, Singh said officially they have no information about the talks.

Reacting to media reports that Samiti has rejected a compromise formula, Singh said, "there was no formula given to us. So the question of rejection does not arise."

In related developments, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh held talks with former Chief Ministers Mufti Mohammed Sayeed and Ghulam Nabi Azad separately on Friday and discussed the formula.

PDP has maintained that any unilateral agreement between Samiti and the Government should not be implemented as it would further deepen the crisis in Kashmir.
