A PT drill and march past to the tune of “Nana muna rahi hoon” by the children wearing green sapling T shirts with white pants and skirts marked the sport events. It was followed by races which included ‘drag your teddy’ aeroplane” and “monkey race.” The star attraction was the gymnast show in which the children did the somersaults and passed through a ring. Parents and grandparents were also invited to take part in the races.
The function was rounded up by the saplings dancing in colourful dresses to the tunes of “Bambh bambh bole.” Vijay Rai Dhanda, wife of MLA Harish Dhanda, was the chief guest on the occasion.
