Parker, who will be appearing with Grant in a yet unnamed romantic comedy said that Grant is "an ideal British gentleman".
"I think Englishmen live up to all the ideals and Hugh is a perfect example," the 42-year-old actress said.
The actress had previously missed a chance to act opposite Grant when she was replaced by Andie MacDowell in the 1994 hit ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’.
Their upcoming film is about an estranged couple who have to go into hiding under the witness protection programme, the ‘Daily Mail’ reported.
Parker, who is married to Matthew Broderick since 1997, has earlier dated actor Robert Downey Jr in the 1980s, and then the late John Kennedy Jr.
However, there were reports that the couple were headed for a split after rumours surfaced that Matthew had an affair, but it has been denied firmly by the couple.
