London, July 3: It seems all is fair in love and only love for Nicolas Sarkozy -- the French President is said to have postponed an official trip to Ireland this month to be present at his wife Carla Bruni’s music album release.

Though officially he put off the date of his trip from 11 July in his capacity as European Union President because of a “heavy schedule”, the change of date to July 21 simply means that he would now be able to be by Bruni’s side when the First Lady launches her new album, ‘The Daily Telegraph’ reported.

In the third week of July, the 40-year-old Italian supermodel is to release her music album Comme si de rien n’tait (As if Nothing Happened) in which she sings of her love for her husband and of her previous “thirty lovers”.

The album also contains blatant references to exotic destinations, particularly in Egypt, which Bruni and Sarkozy visited last year during their lightning romance before their marriage this February.

“See the pyramids along the Nile... Just remember darling, all the while, you belong to me,” she croons, clearly referring to Egypt which was the couple’s first foreign trip last December, where they were photographed smooching and strolling hand in hand by the edge of the desert sands.

“See the market place in old Algiers... Just remember till your dream appears, You belong to me,” the lyrics go on, referring to the President’s trip to the African nation when he left his fiancee alone back in Paris amid row over their public displays of affection.

The final line includes the words, “Fly the ocean in a silver plane... Just remember till you’re home again... You belong to me.” This is said to be a parallel with Sarkozy’s frequent overseas trips on the presidential jet.

Bruni composed the music and wrote the lyrics to most of the songs on the album that’s due to out in France, Britain, Germany and Italy simultaneously..
