Sat Paul Mittal remembered

Ludhiana, January13 Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust today held a function to observe the 16th death anniversary of its founder president Sat Paul Mittal.

On this occasion, Rakesh Bharti Mittal, president of the trust, said that Bharti Foundation was in the process of opening around 1,000 schools across the country. Prem Aggarwal, Deepak Panday and Parveen Syal, general secretary, secretary and treasurer, respectively, of the trust paid floral tributes to Sat Paul Mittal.

Remembering Mittal, former minister Harnam dass Johar described him a great patriot who served the mankind with dedication even as he called upon people to live in peace and harmony. While throwing light on various facets of Mittal’s life, he said that he used to work tirelessly for the poor and the down-trodden.

Prem Mittal stressed the need for setting up a hospital in the memory of Mittal in Ludhiana for the poor and the needy. Rakesh Pandey, Surinder Dawer and Sham Sunder Malhotra highlighted achievments of Mittal. Lt Col D.B. Sharma, organising secretary, highlighted the contributions made by Mittal towards the progress of nation.

Rakesh Bharti Mittal said his family was doing everything possible to accompish the goals set by Mittal.
