Ludhiana, March 14 Sat Paul Mittal School organised the third graduation ceremony of Upvan class today, at Nehru Sidhant Kendra. Manju Bharatram, chairperson of Shri Ram Schools, was the chief guest on the occasion. Suneet Sidhu, head of junior school, informed that Bharatram has been associated with many organisations that work for the education of the underprivileged, and the upliftment of women in the society. Addressing the gathering, Rakesh Bharti Mittal, chairman of the Governing Council of Sat Paul Mittal School said, “From April 16, Satya Bharti is going to start 100 more schools in Punjab.” He emphasised upon the need for educating masses in India. Thereafter, about 100 students took the oath of allegiance to the school flag. Navjot Kaur, Academic Coordinator of the elementary section, spoke of the strategies and methodologies being followed in school to ensure the personality development of the students. Later, smartly-dressed Satyans clad in gowns and caps went up the stage amidst a loud applause. The students sang a lovely song, ‘First grade, first grade’, and illustrated their achievements in the pre-primary school.

Manju Bharatram, Rakesh Bharti Mittal, Arun Bharatram, Prem Aggarwal and Lt Col Dr D B Sharma honoured the undergraduates by presenting them the scrolls. The children presented a fabulous entertainment programme which included a Maharashtrian dance and an exotic Arabian-Western remix.

Manju Bharatram appreciated the achievements of students. It was a moment of mixed emotions as the students walked down the aisle to the tune of a touching farewell song. On one hand, the teachers were proud of their perfect products, and on the other hand they were sad to part with them after a close association of two years.

Lt Col Dr D B Sharma spoke on pre-primary education. He said that the national policy on education lays special emphasis on early childhood care and education.
