Satya Paul brings ‘Jewels by Queenie’ to city

Ludhiana, January 23 The Satya Paul store today hosted the jewelry collection by Queenie Dhody, the socialite-cum-jewellery designer. This is the first exhibition by Dhody in the city.

The collection including a stylish combination of precious and semi-precious jewellery with Victorian and art décor’ creations, that have been put together in beautiful designs and colours.

Talking about the collection, Dhody said, “I design for women who want to make a statement. My creations are an extension of me. They exude elegance, style and importance.”

Adds the former Miss India and model, “I know Punjabi women from close quarters, for I hail from Gurdaspur. Punjabi women are very stylish, and they know how to make their style statement. Also, the market in this part of the country is booming. Ludhiana is a rich city, and people are ready to spend if they get their money’s value. They have good taste. That is why more and more designers are making a beeline for Punjab, especially Ludhiana.”
