Lashing out at the Congress, Jaitley said it lacked the will to combat terror and added the BJP was the only party which could effectively tackle the menace.
Accusing the Congress, the Samajwadi Party and the BSP of pursuing vote bank politics, he said this had relegated issues like inflation and terror into the backburner.
Without naming anyone, the BJP general secretary flayed those who, he said, were questioning the genuiness of the Jamia Nagar encounter in Delhi.
"Some people are even questioning the sacrifice of Delhi Police Inspector M C Sharma. This has never happened in the past," he said.

The congress government has failed miserably to provide adequate security to the population. Whats the point in having a nuke deal while terrorists are killing people at random and our home minister is busy issuing warnings to Opposition ruled states while completely forgetiing his moral duty towards protecting india and not furthering congress agenda. shameful. Definitely India must be saved not from UPA but from the communal BJP and its progenator the RSS. If these are allowed to gain power then the 'two-nation' theory will come into force to eliminate communities other than the Hindu.
For a person of Arun Jaitley's stature to be blind to the trauma of Christians who are also citizens of India is to say the least,selective myopia. There is no bigger player in vote bank politics than the BJP. I hope he at least believes in Karma.

Kudos to the BJP think tank. Nothing cud have been more appropriate. But I am waiting to hear the reactions of Congress, Communist and other "secular" leaders to see what "communal" angle they wud discover in this innocuous (but so very appropriate) slogan.
