Schedule of trains to Delhi altered

Chandigarh, September 4 Owing to construction at the New Delhi Railway Station, several trains from Chandigarh to New Delhi have been cancelled or diverted by the Northern Railways.

Jan Shatabdi Express between Nangaldam and New Delhi has been cancelled from September 6 to September 15. Kalka Shatabdi Express will arrive and depart from Delhi Sarai Rohilla while the Himalayan Queen will depart from Panipat (from September 6 to September 15).

Paschim Express 2095 A (from September 5 to13) and 2096 A (from September 6 to 14) has been diverted to Okhla-Delhi-Safdarjung-Adarshnagar-Delhi and Unchahar Express 4217 (from September 5 to 14) and 4218 (from September 6 to 15) to Khurja-Meerut-Saharanpur-Ambala.

Railway officials said there is no change in the fare or the journey time of the affected trains. The e-ticketing process for these trains will continue as the changes have already been updated with the new destinations.
