Science Congress at PU to discuss integration, innovation

Chandigarh, March 12 The Punjab University will hold a two-day Chandigarh Science Congress on ‘Empowering India by Scientific Integration, Innovation & Invention’ on March 14 and 15.

It is being organised in association with various organisations in and around Chandigarh, including PGIMER, NIPER, TBRL, CSIO, IMTECH, PEC, GMCH, CFSL, IISER, NITTTR, HSCST and PSCST.

The Congress would be a historical event as it will be a part of the diamond jubilee celebrations of the Panjab University.

The local organising committee of CHASCON has been entrusted with the responsibility of encompassing some key personalities of the city institutes catering to scientific education and research.

Scientific deliberations, poster presentations covering various facets of science and technology shall be made during the Congress. An exhibition of scientific books and equipment during the event shall be another key attraction for the participants.

CHASCON would also provide adequate opportunities to the science faculty in the institutions to ‘showcase’ themselves before the industry and entrepreneurs .
