New Delhi, September 4: Mulayam Singh Yadav whose Samjwadi Party switched sides ahead of the confidence vote in Lok Sabha in July and supported the government, said his party in a "dilemma" on the Indo-US nuclear deal in the wake of latest disclosures from the United States.

"I will come and speak, definitely I will speak. But at present I am in a dilemma. I heard about the letter (of US State Department to Congress).

"It has some truth but (External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee) gave a different statement. So I am also in a dilemma. But will study the news reports and decided whether the media is correct or Pranab Mukherjee is," he told reporters in Lucknow after a party meeting.

Ever since the letter containing Administration's letter containing controversial pronouncements to a Congressional Committee chairman, the Left and BJP have attacked the government and demanded an immediate session of Parliament for discussing the deal.

Meanwhile, the Congress party said that there is no need to panic adding that there is nothing new in the letter.

“There is no cause of alarm or apprehension in view of the letter,” Congress spokesman Manish Tiwari said.
