Security training academy opens at Hadapsar

Pune, March 1 Checkmate Industrial Services, a security services provider, inaugurated its training academy at Hadapsar recently. The training academy was inaugurated by Rajendra A Sonawane, Joint Commissioner of Police.

The widespread training academy will provide a specially designed security course which focuses mainly on Physical training, Drill, security training, fire-fighting, communication, disaster management/IED's and other related activities. The training academy which is equipped with facilities like audio visual classroom, computer lab and Obstacle courses, has two permanent trainers and will be regularly visited by faculty from defense , medical and fire fighting backgrounds.

"In today's socio-economic environment where the security apparatus all over are being constantly put to test with increasing infringements of law and order and subversive activities, the security agencies have to pass the muster continuously. In order to make this industry more oraganized the Private security agencies regulations Act 2005 has now imposed stringent laws on the security agencies. We at Checkmate have taken care all the laws, industry standards and requirements while designing the courses for the proper training of our security guards and planning to commercialise," said by G S Arora of the Checkmate.
