Patiala, January 30 The Top Careers and You, in association with Yadawindra Public School, Patiala, today organised a seminar on Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) that is the prerequisite examination the students have to clear who plan to study in the United States and Canada.

The school principal, Stanley Vinod Kumar, said the seminar would help students to get exposure of various academic opportunities in foreign countries. “Our students do not get enough exposure to plan their studies abroad, therefore, we have been left behind as compared to other schools,” he added.

Jyoti Manchanda, in-charge of the Wings Programme under which the SAT seminar was held stated that students need to have good knowledge of mathematics and English to clear the exam. “We tell students to stick to the fundamental concepts of their subjects to clear SAT,” she further added.

Manchanda said, “We are hopeful that the presentation would have helped the students to gain insight into the SAT examination.”
