Sena men thrash official for citing leader's kin in cow scam

Yavatmal, September 29: Shiv Sena activists allegedly thrashed Zilla Parishad education and health committee chairman for mentioning party leaders' relatives names in a press release issued in connection with infamous cow scam in Yavatmal.

Shiv Sainiks barged into the official residence of evanand Pawar on Sunday and allegedly thrashed him for he had issued a release mentioning the involvement of BJP and Sena Leaders' relatives in cow scheme scam, police said.

The Shiv Sena local leaders have clarified that Devanand Pawar had personally invited them to his house to explain his position with regard to the alleged press release.
