Seven IPS, 6 HPS officers transferred

Shimla, January 21 The state home department today ordered transfers of seven IPS and six HPS officers, which include Superintendents of Police of six districts, including Shimla and Kangra.

Gyaneshwar Singh, SP, Kangra, and Atul Kumar Fulzele, SP, Una, would replace each other. Rajinder Mohan Sharma, SP, PTC, Daroh, would replace SP, Shimla.

A.P. Singh would now hold charge as SP, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau. R.L. Sood, DIG, South Range, Shimla, and Pradeep Kumar, DIG, Prisons, Shimla, would replace each other. Shiv Pal Verma, SP, Chamba, would hold charge of SP, Solan, and R.S. Negi, SP, State Vigilance and Anti Corruption Bureau, would replace him. Diljeet Thakur, SP, Solan, has been transferred as SP (CID), Intelligence, Shimla. He would replace Upinder Thakur, who is transferred as AIG (R&T), TTR, Shimla. Prem Thakur, SP, State Vigilance and Anti Corruption Bureau, Dharamshala, would now hold charge of SP, Lahaul and Spiti, replacing K.K. Indoria, who is now posted as SP, Bilaspur.

Orders regarding posting of Balbir Singh Thakur, SP, Bilaspur, will be issued separately, said the notification of home department issued here today. Canceling the earlier posting orders of Santosh Patial, Commandant, First IRB, Bangarh, Una, as AIG (R&T), the home department has now posted him in State Vigilance and Anti Corruption Bureau, Dharamshala.
